Ysleta Mission
This is the oldest continuously operated parish in the United States. A rich Catholic history is found here and beautiful architecture. Well worth a trip to visit and see this old parish that’s still a working parish. It’s been renovated a few times over the years.
The Grand 10
You can enjoy a movie date night at this location in Fort Bliss Texas. There are many times available for the latest movie options. They have summer children flicks too so that you can get the children out for a little bit of entertainment.
Fort Bliss Bowling Center
This is the perfect downtime for the whole family to enjoy a bowling challenge together. There’s a party room where you can reserve a place for birthdays or other events, just be sure to call ahead of time and make sure the party room is open.
Gene Roddenberry Planetarium
Established in 1969, this planetarium was created with the combined efforts of El Paso Public School System as well as the National Science Foundation and Junior League of El Paso. There are over 120 reclined seats to enjoy the night sky in this beautiful planetarium.

El Paso Zoo
It’s always a fun day when you head to a zoo. This location in Fort Bliss Texas allows you to see over 220 species of animals in addition to some endangered species. This is the perfect educational but fun day trip for you and the children.
El Paso Museum of Art
If you have a love of art then you’ll enjoy this 250-mile radius of art from the United States and Mexico combined under one roof. This museum of art has over 100,000 visitors each year and showcases some fabulous contemporary art pieces.

MWR/Exchange – Fort Bliss
There are great food and shopping options at Freedom Crossing. Freedom Crossing is an open air shopping center. They also hold events here from time to time.
Wyler Aerial Tramway
Ride in a gondola from tramway station to the top of Ranger Peak in a fun four-minute ride. You’ll see beautiful aerial views aboard this gondola. You’ll see cacti in a whole new light and the beauty in the vastness of this location.
