While this is simply a place to memorialize our Vietnam Veterans, the beautiful fountain is worth a view. The bridge leading to the dome as well as the Glass Wall and Fountain are all of French design. Lights illuminate this memorial making it even more magical to stop by and visit.
Walton’s Distillery
This distillery makes moonshine, whiskey, and bourbon. A full production facility offering daily tours of activities such as mashing, fermentation, distillation, and bottling of their moonshine, whiskey, and bourbon. There is a gift shop and free tasting of all Walton’s spirits available here.
Lynwood Park Zoo
With a ½ acre pond and 10 acres of land, this zoo is a great family-friendly day trip. Established in 1990, this zoo houses over 80 animal exhibits. You’ll see many species here from reptiles to birds and mammals as well.
