Historic Savannah Theatre
A must visit is this theatre that’s been continuously running since 1818. This is a live performance venue as well as a movie theater location. Primarily focused on live music performances and venues, but you can grab a ticket to see a movie with the family too.
Bull River Marina
There is much to do here, where you can rent boats, see dolphins and take a sunset tour for a romantic date night. This marina is a full-service marina that has a wide range of activities to enjoy. You can do both onshore and offshore fishing too for the perfect family day out.
Old Fort Jackson
Enjoy daily cannon firings and interactive programs for the whole family at Old Fort Jackson. This National Historic Landmark is well worth a visit when you’re in Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, GA. You can even walk on one of the oldest brick fortifications on the East Coast at this location.
Savannah-Ogeechee Canal Museum and Nature Center

Each November you can gather around to enjoy the fair that has amusement rides, livestock and free concerts. This annual fair is a must visit if you’re stationed in this area during the month of November. Military personnel can get free admission here on Veteran’s Day.
Bryant Commons
If you’re not feeling anything major but want to get out to enjoy this area, then this park is a great location to let the kids run and take a stroll. With 150-acres this is the perfect location for reunions, events and birthday parties. With fishing ponds and much more, you’ll enjoy a day here.
